Wexford minor hurling manager ratified for next season

The Wexford minor hurling manager was ratified at the latest Wexford GAA County Board meeting…

The meeting, which took place on 26 September, ratified the minor hurling manager for the next season.

Michael Jacob, who became manager of the Wexford minor hurling team in 2021, has been ratified as the Wexford minor hurling manager.

He will continue with Roger Ennis, Richie Flynn, and Helena Jacob in the backroom team.

However, one addition to the minor hurling backroom team is former Wexford u-21 hurling coach and former Wexford Senior hurling selector, JJ Doyle.

With Keith Rossiter stepping up to the Senior position, many tipped JJ Doyle to become the new Wexford u20 hurling manager.

That no longer seems to be the case, committing to the minor hurling team instead.

At the same Wexford GAA County Board meeting, it was noted that the “process is ongoing in respect of Minor Football, U20 Football and U20 Hurling and will be ratified in due course.”
