New Wexford Minor Hurling Manager Is A Familiar Face

A Wexford GAA County Board meeting took place last night…

One of the biggest talking points following the meeting was the new Wexford management teams for the upcoming season.

One appointment that has gone somewhat under the radar is the appointment of former Wexford hurler, Michael Jacob, as the new Wexford minor hurling manager.

Jacob replaces both Paul Carley and Aidan O’Connor who will depart the role.

Michael Jacob will bring in a wealth of hurling experience to his backroom team too. It was confirmed that Roger Ennis, Mick Morris, Richie Kehoe, Noel Carton and Helena Jacob will all form part of his backroom team for the Wexford minor hurlers.

In other news, Jacob’s clubmate Keith Rossiter, has been confirmed as the new Wexford u-20 hurling manager for the new season. A host of former Wexford Senior hurlers have also joined Rossiter’s backroom team for the u-20 set-up.

Meanwhile, in related news, Darragh Egan has confirmed his backroom team for the upcoming season and he has brought in some interesting names to the set-up.
