It feels like a long time ago since Naomh Eanna were crowned Wexford Senior hurling champions….
The Gorey side defeated Oylegate-Glenbrien in the Wexford Senior Hurling final back in August.
But, their campaign has now ended yet, as they look forward to a Leinster club hurling fixture in less than three weeks time.
The fixture details for their upcoming Leinster club championship clash have been revealed by Leinster GAA.
Naomh Eanna will take on the Offaly champions on Saturday,11th November at 7.15pm.
Both Shinrone and Kilcormac-Killoughey battled it out for Offaly Senior hurling championship silverware last weekend.
It was Kilcormac-Killoughey who emerged victorious, winning by eighteen points.
Naomh Eanna will be up against it, but they will be happy with the fact that it will be a home clash for the Wexford side, with the game being played under-lights at Chadwicks Wexford Park.
It will be a Leinster Quarter-final and a win for Naomh Eanna will see them play the winners of the Kilkenny vs Carlow champions.
For those not attending the game, the match will also be shown on RTE 2.
Ticket details are yet to be released, but they will be in due course.
Naomh Eanna will be hoping to continue their successful year. This year, the Gorey club were crowned Wexford Senior hurling champions along with Intermediate Champions, which seen them promoted to the Senior ranks of the Wexford Senior Football Championship too.
