Both the Wexford Senior Hurlers and the Wexford Senior Footballers will be out in action this weekend…
After two good wins against Wicklow and Kildare respectively, John Hegarty’s Wexford Senior footballers have set up an O’Byrne Cup semi-final clash away to All-Ireland champions, Dublin, in Parnell Park.
This will take place on on Saturday 13th Jan (1.30pm), with tickets available on the GAA’s Universe Platform for 10 euro.
Meanwhile, the Wexford hurlers will be looking forward to the new year ahead. There’s a new excitement growing across the country ahead of the new season with the new Wexford hurling manager, Keith Rossiter.
After Kilkenny comprehensively defeated Carlow on Tuesday evening, it means Wexford’s first clash in the Walsh Cup will take place against Carlow on Sunday, 14th Jan 2024.
Tickets for the Wexford vs Carlow game can be purchased online for 10 euro too.
It will be Rossiter’s first year in charge of the Wexford Senior hurlers, having replaced Darragh Egan in his role.
A potential Walsh Cup semi-final clash against Kilkenny in Nowlan Park may await Wexford the following week on Sunday, 21st Jan 2024.
