This morning, Met Eireann has issued a Yellow wind warning.

The warning is in place from 7am on Saturday morning until 8pm on Saturday evening.

The Irish weather forecaster, Met Eireann, is predicting “very strong and gusty southerly winds.” The warning is in place as Storm Kathleen approaches the country.

Some possible impacts include fallen trees, difficult travel conditions, debris and loose objects displace, and some coastal flooding.
