An Irish rugby star is set to visit Wexford soon…
Professional Irish rugby player, Robbie Henshaw, will visit Gorey on Wednesday.
He will be visiting Hickey’s Pharmacy in Gorey on Wednesday May 8th.
Henshaw, who is a brand ambassador for Ava – an Irish vitamin company – will be at Hickey’s Pharmacy from 3pm to 4:30pm, engaging in a meet and greet with customers and fans.
We caught up with Lisa Gowan, who is the manager of Hickey’s Pharmacy in Gorey:
“It’s an honour for our store to be chosen. The event will bring Gorey into the limelight. We were chosen because we have such a loyal customer base our store has gone strength to strength,”
“We will have signed merchandise to give away and refreshments too. It’s all about putting Gorey on the map; I want everyone to know about our great town,” Lisa told Wexford Weekly.
The event is not a ticketed event, nor is there an admission fee. It’s a free event and all are welcome to attend.
