Met Éireann issues thunderstorm warning for Wexford and 17 other counties

Met Éireann has issued a fresh weather warning for 18 counties with further thunderstorms likely across much of the country on Tuesday…

A status yellow thunderstorm warning has been issued for Cork, Waterford, Tipperary, Limerick, Cavan, Monaghan and all of Leinster including County Wexford.

The new weather warning came into effect this morning at 10am. 

Between now and the time the warning lapses at 9pm, Met Éireann is warning of “thunderstorms and heavy downpours”.

It says that the potential impacts include spot flooding, difficult travelling conditions and poor visibility.
