Ireland’s Festy Ebosele to partake in Charity Football event in Wexford

CIE Promotions has announced its forthcoming event in Enniscorthy, Wexford…

Their founder, Mick Abidoye, who has his roots in Enniscorthy, is thrilled to bring their award-winning entertainment platform to his hometown.

They are cordially inviting you to join them for a charity football tournament at the Shamrock Rovers pitch on the 6th of July at 2 PM. The event is organised in support of St. Vincent de Paul in Enniscorthy.

Speaking to Wexford Weekly, Mick said:


“This event promises not only to raise funds for a noble cause but also to deliver top-tier entertainment. Celebrated individuals will be showcasing their talents in the football tournament to support St. Vincent de Paul.”

The event will host a roster of high-profile personalities, including Festy Ebosele, an Irish international footballer who hails from Enniscorthy. Ebosele now plays his professional football with Serie A side, Udinese. He made his Senior Republic of Ireland debut against France last September under Stephen Kenny’s stewardship. Those in attendance will be able to see Festy up close as he is set to play the charity football match under ‘Team Darragh’.

Others include Bailey333, an Irish rapper celebrated for his performance at Longitude, Darragh, a prominent Irish TikToker, Craig Cooney, a multifaceted Irish rapper and actor, and Leah Flynn, a renowned model and Pretty Little Things ambassador, among others.

The event is sponsored by Quirky Cuts Wexford Barber Shop in Wexford.

Ticket cost €5 only, with proceeds going to charity. It’s event not-to-be-missed. Tickets are now available on Eventbrite. Secure your spot at the earliest to witness an unforgettable blend of sports and entertainment for a worthy cause.
