How much are WW annual subscriptions? 🤔
There are two options available. The first is a subscription for €3 annually, while the other is a subscription for €6 annually.
What’s the difference between the €3 annual subscription and the €6 annual subscription? 🤔
There are additional perks with the €6 annual subscription such as first to know about buses, discounts on future products in our store, and discounts on future events. More information can be found here under Membership Options.
If I don’t like it, can I cancel? 🤔
Yes, you can cancel at any time via the ‘Profile’ section.
How are payments handled? 🤔
Payments are completely handled by Stripe.
How do I register? 🤔
You can register by filling out the WW annual subscription registration form here, selecting your plan, and inputting your payment details. It can be done in 30 seconds.
Will I receive a receipt of purchase? 🤔
Yes, you will receive a confirmation email from us after you sign up. You will also receive a paid receipt from Stripe if you have registered successfully.
I forgot my password, can you help? 🤔
This is done automatically. When attempting to log-in, click on ‘Forgot password’. Enter your details and you will receive a new password. If the problem persists, email us at email@example.com and we’ll look at the issue.
It won’t let me register. Is there something wrong with your system? 🤔
If you did not receive the Stripe proof of receipt, this means that you have still not purchased an annual subscription. If you have signed up, but for some reason, you forgot to pay, you will have to register here instead. Registering here will enable you to purchase a subscription. This is likely the issue if you’re struggling to ‘register’. This form is a little different, but it should work. Any issues registering, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll do it manually.
Can my friends sign in via the same log-in? 🤔
Yes, but only one person will be able to access the restricted side of the site at once. Once your friend signs in, you would be signed out, and vice-versa. This could lead to some problems, so for €3 per-year it’s probably worth just purchasing the membership.
Why were annual subscriptions introduced? 🤔
It’s the next step on the Wexford Weekly journey. We are committed to distributing new, improved and original content and annual subscriptions helps us to do this. We now have three paid writers on our team.* The main thing is that we believe we are offering a useful and cost-effective service for people across Wexford. We’re on a long-term journey with a lot of goals still to reach. In local media terms, we’re very young, but we believe that we have something unique here. We’re very hopeful for the future.

Why only 3 euro annually? Do you not value the site at more? 🤔
Honestly, we do. But, we also value our followers and fans that we’ve had for the last five years on our social media channels. We do not want to be a hindrance to people where you look at your bank every month and see more money come out. We’ve enough bills to pay and we believe that this is a cost-effective solution that shouldn’t worry a lot of people.
Will the site be all subscription based? 🤔
There will still be some content accessible for free on our site, but we will be continuing to roll out the annual subscriptions for the forseeable future.
Some content does not deserve to be restricted. So, why is it? 🤔
Maybe it does, maybe it doesn’t. But, as we continue to roll out the annual subscriptions, we’ll be restricting content. This acts as a great tool to advertise the existence of our new subscription model too.
What if I just get my mate to screenshot the restricted article and then send it to me? 🤔
Well, you could. This is similar to how people can watch Netflix originals on a dodgy streaming site. With Netflix, and with this, you’re paying for the service and ease of access. We truly believe we have a cost-effective solution that you will not be disappointed with.
