Wexford Premier Division Player of the Year named at awards night

An Awards Night for the Wexford Football League took place last night, on Friday 31st May, at the Riverbank House Hotel in Wexford town…

Ryan Busher (Forth Celtic), Conor Casserly (Gorey Rangers) and Alan Rhodes were all nominated for the Wexford Football League Premier Division Player of the Year award.

Gorey Rangers player, Conor Casserly, picked up the award after a consistent season in defence for the Gorey Rangers outfit.

The club noted that it was a “brilliant achievement” for Conor to pick up the individual honour.

It’s the second year in a row that a Gorey Rangers player has won the individual honour, with Paul Murphy – who secured a move to Bray Wanderers during the season – picking up the award in 2023.
