Keith Rossiter names Wexford senior hurling team for Laois clash

The Wexford Senior hurlers will be out in action again this weekend…

Keith Rossiter’s Wexford Senior hurling side will take on Laois in a preliminary All-Ireland quarter-final this Saturday in O’Moore Park, Laois.

One omission on the Wexford Senior hurling team is that of full-back, Liam Ryan. Ryan suffered a hamstring injury against Kilkenny and has not recovered. This was the same injury that he was dealt with beforehand, ruling him out of all of this year’s action prior to the Galway game in the Leinster Hurling Championship.

Jack O’Connor does not feature on the panel again, despite coming on in their previous game against Kilkenny.


It’s welcomed news to see Ferns hurler, Corey Byrne Dunbar, named on a championship team for the first time this year.

Other than the loss of Jippo, it is a relatively unchanged team for Keith Rossiter.
