Met Eireann has issued a yellow warning for Wexford and other counties throughout Ireland…

This morning, Met Eireann has issued a Yellow thunderstorm warning for Wexford and eight other counties.

The forecaster has issued a Status Yellow Thunderstorm warning for Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Wexford, Wicklow, Tipperary and Waterford.

It’s valid from 1pm- 7pm today (Friday), as isolated thunderstorms with the chance of hail is expected.

As per the Irish weather forecaster, Met Eireann, some possible impacts include “hazardous travelling conditions, poor visibility, spot flooding, and some lightning damage
