Watch: Beautiful rendition of ‘Boolavogue’ sang at the Fleadh in Wexford

The Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann, which took place in Wexford over the last week, had many moments of brilliance…

On our Facebook page, a young 10-year-old went viral after singing ‘Grace’ on the streets of Wexford town. From Courtown to Cork, Ballygarret to Bali, and Piercestown to Poland, the video surpassed over 250,000 views, showcasing the Wexford Fleadh to the whole world.

Another person on hand to capture the magic of the Fleadh was Thomas McCormack, a freelance photojournalist, who captured Latvian woman Solvita McCormack sing ‘Black is the Colour’ all while holding her baby.

Another moment which was highly talked about was when ‘Boolavogue’ was blared out from the streets in Wexford town, which was another excellent rendition sang in unison of the famous Wexford rebel song.
