Ballycross apple farm in Wexford will not re-open

Ballycross apple farm have confirmed that they will not re-open its farm…

The farm has become a hit with the public, especially over the Halloween period, with people venturing down to enjoy some pumpkin picking. It has been a long-standing tradition for many families, who brought their kids there to enjoy the festivities of the spooky period.

The owners of the Bridgetown farm released a statement on social media, stating that it’s “with a heavy heart” that they’ve made the decision not to re-open.

“It’s with a heavy heart that we’ve decided not to re-open the farm this year. We would like to thank each and every customer that paid a visit to the farm over the many years we have been open. Your custom has been very much appreciated,” the statement reads.

Although the farm may be closed, they noted that not all is lost and that their tasty “juice is still available.”

  1. I think it is a shame just wondering will your apples be for sale anywhere around Wexford. Good luck for the future.
