A new Wexford-based clothing brand has hit the online marketplace and is the brainchild of a group of Wexford golf fanatics…
Zenith Golf was born out of Wexford in February 2024 with a deep-rooted commitment to providing Irish golfers with the comfort, flexibility and affordability to improve their game on the fairways.
“The idea sort of stemmed from the fact that we’ve been playing golf most of our lives and with a cost-of-living crisis going on, what was already an inherently expensive game to begin with has now become even more expensive. As a young player, the biggest barrier to entry to the game of golf is the cost. At Zenith Golf, we are committed to our entire range being available to shop for under €50. We have worked for most of last year teeing this up, looking at our competitors and trying to position ourselves at the lower end of the price point but with comfort and quality remaining the number 1 factor. Where we differ is that we will always look after our customers. Those who buy from us even just once are privy to regular discounts and savings because your brand is only as good as the people who support it”, said Andre O’Brien, a spokesperson for Zenith Golf.
Speaking to Wexford Weekly about the business, Andre continued:
“We try our best as a small business to support in the locality and where better to establish a business than in Wexford with its vast array of magnificent golf courses. We are currently appointing a couple of rising stars on the Irish Golf scene and we have committed to supporting several local Golf Classics this year. It’s good for us to get a foothold in the industry but also, we’re all for supporting what is going on around Wexford and indeed around Ireland. We recently held 3x pop-up stores around Ireland and have been delighted with the response so far”.
In creating Zenith Golf, a passion of golf and filling a gap in the market are combined. Further down the line, there is hope to further expand the clothing range and to also include women’s clothing, which is currently in lack of supply.
