Celebrity chef coming to Wexford for Food and Heritage Festival

Excitement is building in a North Wexford village….

News that a celebrity chef will be in attendance at an upcoming food and heritage festival has started to generate some excitement across the community.

Celebrity chef, Kevin Dundon, will be the guest chef at this year’s Kilanerin Food and Heritage Festival. Rachel Allen was the headline guest at last year’s festival, which was the first time the festival operated in the village.

“Kevin will host a special cookery demonstration on Saturday evening (September 14th) at Kilanerin Community Centre,” the organisers said.

Dundon is the owner of Dunbrody Country House hotel in Ireland. He is one of Ireland’s most beloved Celebrity Chefs and he also acts as a food ambassador for Wexford. known for featuring on television series “Guerrilla Gourmet”, which was an Irish television series broadcast on RTÉ One. Dundon is also the author of the book, Full on Irish: Contemporary Creative Cooking, while he has also featured in multiple other publications.
