Wexford’s Festy Ebosele makes English Championship move

They left it late, but they got it over the line…

Wexford’s Festy Ebosele, who was playing with Udinese FC in the Serie A, has made a move to the English Championship close to deadline day.

The Enniscorthy native, who played his schoolboys soccer with Moyne Rangers, has joined Watford, who will no doubt be pushing for a promotion spot back to the Premier League this season.

Festy confirmed the news yesterday, with a simple caption “let’s get to work” while wearing a Watford jersey.

It’s big news for Festy and all involved. He will be hoping that he gets regular appearances, also helping his faith with the Republic of Ireland team.
