Wexford business announces that it is closing down

A Wexford business has decided to close it’s doors…

Geekfood restaurant, which opened for business three years ago in Courtown Co. Wexford, has announced that it will be closing down.

The restaurant, owned by Eimhear Cullen, could not operate anymore due to the additional demands facing businesses.

The business will remain open for another few weeks, continuing to welcome customers before their eventual closure. From Gorey, the business can be seen on the left just as you enter the seaside village of Courtown.

Announcing the closure of the business online, Eimhear stated:

“Unfortunately we are announcing the closure of Geek at the end of September. Due to multipe determining factors it has become impossible to keep our business going.”

“We want to thank all our amazing staff, friends and customers for supporting us throughout the last three years. We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved and will cherish the memories of all our shared experiences.

“We look forward to seeing everyone over the coming weeks, it will give us a chance to say goodbye and give you the last Geek experience. Keep an eye out for some of the old favourites to not miss”

“We also want to encourage anyone with vouchers to use them as we’d like to honour these before we close our doors for the final time.”
