Wexford pub wins Regional award for “Best Pub Food” in the 2024 Irish Pub Awards

One Wexford pub was celebrating last night…

It comes after it was announced that an Enniscorthy-based pub won a regional award in the 2024 Irish Pub Awards.

The Bailey Bar & Eatery, Enniscorthy, Wexford won a regional award for the South-East region at last night’s Irish Pub Awards. They were victorious in the “Best Food Pub” category which was sponsored by Musgrave Marketplace.

Last night’s victory also means that they are now in the running for a national award too.

Speaking on last night’s win, the Enniscorthy business said:

“We are delighted to say we have been awarded the Regional Winner in the Best Food Category of the Irish Pub Awards 2024.This award means we are one of 7 food pubs throughout the whole of Ireland in the running to be awarded the National Best Food Pub…fingers crossed,” they said.

There’s no doubt that it was well-deserved too. It’s great to see Wexford businesses continue to thrive in their regions, highlighting the excellence hospitality and businesses that are within the country.

In related hospitality news, just yesterday, it was announced that eight Wexford Gala stores claimed prizes for their “excellence in hospitality.”
