Two Wexford hurlers have been nominated for All-Star awards for 2024…
St Martins hurler and Wexford attacker, Rory O’Connor, was magnificent throughout the year and as a result of his performances, he has been nominated for an All-Star award.
Joining Rory on the All-Star nomination list is Wexford’s captain, Lee Chin.
Chin was in a league of his own for many of Wexford’s matches in 2024. He was a menace in the full forward line. Most of the time he got in possession of the ball, it turned to danger.
As Wexford were knocked out by Clare in the All-Ireland quarter final stages, it still may be unlikely that any of the pair will claim an All-Star award, despite their excellent performances throughout both the League campaign and the Championship campaign.
The winners will be revealed at a ceremony to be broadcast live by RTE on Friday November 1st.
