During May of this year, it was announced that Wexford would feature in Dermot O’Leary’s show “Taste of Ireland”…
TV and radio presenter Dermot O’Leary presented an ITV series promoting tourist destinations across Ireland – and Dermot’s home county of Wexford featured on that list.
The episode aired on Monday night on ITV, broadcasting to millions of people.
It also promoted the beautiful food destinations and the excellent food producers from across Wexford in the series.
O’Leary, who’s father is from Wexford, was joined in Chadwicks Wexford Park by three Wexford hurlers. They included Lee Chin, Liam óg McGovern, and Kevin Foley. On the show at Wexford Park, both O’Leary and his father can be viewed playing hurling at the centre of the pitch and enjoying a relaxing conversation.
Kevin Foley also presented O’Leary with a Wexford jersey of his own.
