It was the dream home debut for Festy Ebosele…
Enniscorthy native, Festy Ebosele, who played his schoolboys football with Moyne Rangers found the net for his new club team, Watford FC, in their most recent game over the weekend.
The Republic of Ireland wing-back scored the opening goal of the game on the 27th minute mark for Watford FC against Sunderland, in what was his home debut.
Festy’s goal would prove crucial, as Watford would edge out Sunderland 2-1 on the day.
Reflecting on the game the ex-Moyne Rangers man said:
“Yeah it feels amazing to get the win and the three points, when you are playing with a good team wing back is a very enjoyable position, you get chances to get goals and assists,” Festy Ebosele stated.

Festy has been outstanding, the best player on the pitch without a doubt. Can tell he’s still not fully match fit yet but he’s been absolutely electric!⚡️ pic.twitter.com/AI98bZ6veo
