The day has finally arrived for David ‘Bomber’ Kennedy as his professional boxing debut takes place this evening…
The Wexford native will be fighting in the “Warehouse” of the Red Cow in Dublin this evening (Firday, October 4th) on a card entitled “Make or Break” promoted by JB PRmotions.
Kennedy from Gorey town is 28 years of age. Upon his return after taking a break from boxing, he claimed a national title and won the Celtic Box Cup title within his first year back in the ring.
This evening, he takes on Polish boxer, Michal Malicki. Malicki is a 32-year old born, who stands at 5’11, and was born in Wrzesnia in Poland.
Still fresh in the pro-ranks, Malicki made his professional boxing debut in April of this year. To date, he has a professional record of 1 win and 3 losses.
He will be fighting in the “Warehouse” of the Red Cow in Dublin this Friday, October 4th. The card is entitled “Make or Break.”
As per their event schedule, it will be running from 5:30PM – 11:15PM (Irish time). Kennedy will be early on the card. It is believed that he should be making the ring-walk at about 6-6:30pm. It’s not to be missed; in a previous interview with Wexford Weekly, “Bomber” promised to bring the entertainment factor too.
