Former Irish player and manager to visit Wexford for charity fundraiser

A former Republic of Ireland player will be visiting Wexford soon…

Former Republic of Ireland player and former manager, Steve Staunton, will be paying a visit to Gorey to support a local fundraiser.

Staunton played as a defender with two separate spells each with Premier League sides Aston Villa and Liverpool. 

Staunton will be chatting about his time during Italia 90, alongside his playing and managerial career at the event.

Get ready for an unforgettable experience filled with football stories, insights, and even a few surprises. This in-person event is a must for any football fan looking to get up close and personal with an Irish football legend.

The event will act as a fundraiser in aid of a new ASD Classroom in Gorey Educate Together Secondary School.

The event takes place at the Amber Springs Hotel, Wednesday 6th November, with the discussion kicking off at 8pm. Tickets for the event cost €25 and can be purchased online via Eventbrite.
