One Wexford player named on LOI First Division Team of the Year

It’s always nice to receive individual awards like this…

The League of Ireland First Division Team of the Year was revealed yesterday.

Just one Wexford FC player was named on the team, despite the team reaching the play-offs. The Wexford FC player who made it onto the team was attacker, Aaron Dobbs.

Although Dobbs would have preferred promotion for Wexford FC over the individual accolade, it’s always a nice to be recognised for your top performances through an individual award like this too.

In related Wexford FC news, it looks like one of their star midfielders is set for a move to a professional football club, either in England or Portugal as the January transfer window looms.
