Rebranding and change of name for Wexford hotel

The Maldron Hotel is no more…

Located on the outskirts of Wexford town at Ballindias, Barntown, the Maldron Hotel had recently changed ownership from Dalata to the Wexford-based, Neville Park Group. The hotel was sold to Neville Park Group in September 2024.

In a statement, they said this month that:

“From today forward we will no longer be operating as Maldron Hotel Wexford. We want to thank all of you who visited us over the years, and to all of our friends in the local area,” they said.

“We are delighted to be officially Newtown Park Hotel.. We look forward to welcoming all our guests over the coming, weeks, months and years to Wexford. We have some fantastic plans for the next few months and can’t wait to get started,” the new owners said.

Along with the change in ownership, there is also a rebranding a new name for the Wexford-based hotel.

The hotel will now be named the Newtown Park Hotel, while they also have a new logo, which can be seen below.
