It’s that time of the year again…
Ahead of the new inter-county GAA season for 2025, the bookies are weighing up their options and they have delved into the market to release their odds.
For those people from Wexford, who are daring to dream, they can secure odds for Wexford winning the Liam McCarthy cup at 40/1. It would be Wexford’s first time capturing All-Ireland Senior hurling silverware since 1996.
Although the Leinster Club campaign and All-Ireland club campaign is still underway, preparations will soon begin for the new inter-county season.
Interestingly, Clare – who won the All-Ireland title by defeating Cork in 2024 – are only third favourites, with both Limerick and the Rebels ahead of them in the eyes of the bookies.
For the Wexford dreamers, they will be hoping that the Yellowbellies will have a good cut at the Leinster hurling championship. Winning the Leinster championship for the first time since 2019 would place them into an All-Ireland semi-final – and who knows what could happen then?
All-Ireland hurling odds 2025:
Limerick 7/4
Cork 11/4
Clare 4/1
Kilkenny 13/2
Galway 9/1
Waterford 20/1
Tipperary 20/1
Wexford 40/1
Dublin 100/1
Offaly 500/1
Antrim 500/1
