A small village in South Wexford has gone into overdrive…
The EuroMillions Plus top prize of €500,000 was secured by a Quick Pick ticket purchased at Centra, Carnagh, Cushinstown, Co. Wexford. The winning numbers in last night’s EuroMillions Plus draw were 7, 27, 35, 38 and 45.
Adding to the excitement, an online player from Co. Kildare also became an overnight millionaire when they scored the top prize of €1,000,0000 in the Friday Daily Million 2pm draw. The winning numbers in yesterday’s Daily Million draw were 1, 2, 5, 16, 29, 31 and the bonus was 23.
Emma Monaghan, spokesperson for the National Lottery, has now urged all players to check their tickets to ensure that they do not miss out on any of their big prizes following Friday’s draws:
“What an amazing result last night for our Irish EuroMillions players. Among the 100 guaranteed prizes of €1 million throughout the entire EuroMillions community, players in Ireland managed to win not one, but two of the €1 million prizes up for grabs! Today, we are urging all our players, especially those in Dublin, Kerry, Kildare and Wexford, who played in-store and online to check their tickets carefully.”
“For any National Lottery prize over €1 million, we always ensure that we give the winners a few days to allow their life-changing win to sink in before we announce the exact winning location. We look forward to sharing the news of the big wins with the local retailers and I’m sure there will be plenty of celebrations when their wins are announced” added Ms Monaghan.
The National Lottery has advised all of Friday night’s big winners to check their tickets carefully and if they have a winning ticket in their possession, they should sign it immediately and keep it in a safe place.
To claim their prize, winners are asked to make contact with the prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for their prize to be paid.
Meanwhile, the EuroMillions jackpot of €194,669,133 million was not won on Friday night, with Tuesday’s jackpot now rolling to an estimated €210,000,000. Players dreaming of becoming Ireland’s newest EuroMillions winner are reminded that tickets for Tuesday’s draw can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app or at http://www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.30pm cut off.
