Wexford boxer Dean Walsh has opponent confirmed for his pro debut

The War in Waterford card is just over one week away now…

The event, promoted by Conlan Boxing, includes a stacked card and it’s not to be missed. It takes place in the SETU Arena in Waterford on Saturday, December 7th.

Three of Wexford’s newest professional boxers will all be fighting on the War in Waterford card, headlined by Dylan Moran and Tyrone McKenna.

The three Wexford boxers fighting on the night include David ‘Bomber’ Kennedy, Dean Walsh, and Dean Gonzalez Furlong.

There’s a lot of excitement building across Wexford town as Dean Walsh is set to make his professional debut and take on the next challenge in his career after enjoying a very successful amateur career.

Walsh received the official word of his opponent on Wednesday.

Who is Dean Walsh fighting?

Wexford and St Ibar’s boxer Dean Walsh will be fighting 30-year old Croatian boxer Ermin Sali, who has a record of 1 win and 3 losses. His previous two losses also came at the hands of two debutants, with his last fight taking place in March of this year.

Meanwhile, David Bomber Kennedy also received official word of his opponent, while Dean Gonzalez Furlong had his opponent confirmed last week.

All three Wexford fighters will be fighting on the SETU War In Waterford card on December 7th 2024.
