Wexford Eagles to host Sky Sports NFL Pundit

The Wexford Eagles, in collaboration with ProFootball Ireland, are excited to host An Evening with Jeff Reinebold on Thursday, December 14th, at 7 p.m. in Breen’s Bar, Gorey. This special event is a must for NFL and American football fans, offering a unique opportunity to hear from one of the sport’s most experienced and respected figures in a relaxed, intimate setting.

Jeff Reinebold, currently a defensive coach for the University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors, has built a remarkable career spanning decades. His coaching journey includes roles in the CFL, NCAA, NFL Europe, and The Spring League. Many fans in Wexford and right across Ireland will also recognise Jeff from his role as an NFL pundit and analyst on Sky Sports. Known for his vast knowledge and captivating storytelling, Jeff promises to deliver fascinating insights and share unforgettable moments from his career.

The evening will feature a live interview by Mick McQuaid from ProFootball Ireland, Jeff’s analysis of the current NFL season, and an open fan Q&A session, giving attendees the chance to ask their burning football questions. As an added bonus, every ticket holder will have the opportunity to meet Jeff in person.

The Wexford Eagles, established in 2015, are proud to be the only American football team in the South East of Ireland. The Senior Kitted Team is currently preparing for an exciting 2025 season under the leadership of new Head Coach Ross McCooey, a multi-time Shamrock Bowl champion and former European-level player. With McCooey instilling a “relentless attitude” in the team, the Eagles are determined to build on their legacy and continue growing the sport in the region.

The team is also actively recruiting new players. Open to all skill levels, fitness levels, body types, and genders, the Eagles host training sessions at Castletown GAA’s indoor astro every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Thursday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Whether you’re an experienced athlete or just curious about the game, everyone is welcome to give it a try.
