Keith Rossiter names Wexford team for Kilkenny clash

The Wexford Senior hurlers lost out heavily to Cork at Wexford Park before delivering a much improved performance against Tipperary but still falling short…

Keith Rossiter and his management team will be hoping that the Wexford Senior hurlers will be able to respond in Round 3 of the National Hurling League when they take on Derek Lyng’s Kilkenny side.

Keith Rossiter has named his team for the Kilkenny clash this evening at Wexford Park.

Rory O’Connor returns to the starting fifteen after serving his one-game suspension. Meanwhile, Damien Reck has been named on the bench for this clash, and should he feature, it will be his first appearance of this year’s campaign. Interestingly, Shelmaliers club man Conor Hearne has been handed the captaincy for this game having performed well in the previous two games and in the a scene of Lee Chin, who hasn’t been named on the squad for this clash despite returning to training. It will be his Hearne’s first time captaining the Wexford Senior hurling team.

The Kilkenny team has been named, with Derek Lyng being the first to reveal his hand for Saturday evening’s exciting game.

Tonight’s match will also be broadcast live on RTE.
