Three Garda cars rammed in Wexford by driver in stolen car

Gardaí in Wexford issued a serious public appeal this morning (Thursday)…

A dangerous driving incident, which included a driver in a stolen car, rammed into three Garda cars. It took place on Sunday morning March 16th between 7:40 and 8-10am.

Although two males were arrested, An Garda Siochana in Wexford are now on the look out for evidence and dash cam footage from those who may have captured any of the incidents. Additional evidence would help in matters of prosecution in local courts.

“Gardaí are seeking information regarding a dangerous driving incident involving a stolen car, which occurred on Sunday 16th of March (7:30-8:10am) at N11 Drinagh to M11 Ferns, resulting in three Garda patrol vehicles being rammed.

Two young males were arrested at the scene.

Anyone who has CCTV or dash cam videos or images of the incident is asked to contact Wexford Garda Station on 053916200 or by Garda Confidential on 1800 666 111.”
