Wexford’s Kayleigh Byrne to box in another Youth International with Team Ireland

Wexford’s Kayleigh Byrne, who fights out of Gorey Boxing Club, travelled to Derry recently with Team Ireland…

Wexford’s Kayleigh Byrne, who is the current national champion in her weight class, fought and won against current Welsh champion, Skye Taylor.

The young Wexford woman’s attention will now quickly turn to another Youth Boxing International, as she has been selected on Team Ireland’s squad once again.

Byrne, who is on the Team Ireland card which will take on both France and India boxers, will take place at the Holy Family Boxing Club, Ballsgrove, Drogheda Co. Louth on Friday 28th March at 7pm. Tickets for adults cost €20, under 16 cost €10, while club bundle packages are available at 10 tickets for €150.
