New children’s only barber business to open in Wexford

A new children’s only barber business will open in Wexford…

The new business, dedicated solely to children, will open its doors to the public this Saturday on March 29th at 10am.

The name of the new barbers is “Magic Scissors.” The new children’s-only barber is located at the Gorey Business Park, just outside of Gorey town.

Magic Scissors also aims to target children with special needs, or children who may have autism.

“At Business Park Barbers we have some exciting news. We are opening a child’s only barbers on Saturday 29th March at 10am. Its called “Magic Scissors”. And to say its gorgeous would be an understatement. This premises is going to cater solely for children. It’s also going to target children of special needs or autistic,” Noel O’Leary said.

Along with being able to get their hair cut at this premises, kids will be able to enjoy a range of activities during their time there such as playing basketball, playing in the playhouse, playing futsal, or even just relaxing on their bean bags while watching some of their favourite kid’s shows on television. Even the idea of the children getting their hair cut has been gamified, with the children being able to sit in a truck during the process.

“Do your child a favour and bring them in. We have a wide range of game, activities and TVs to keep your children entertained,” they said.

For parents of children with special needs, it is often a difficult experience getting their kid to a barber. Magic Scissors, however, aims to take away that difficulty. When revealing the news of the new opening, one parent commented that it will no longer be difficult getting their kid there, but instead, it will be difficult getting them out.

Ahead of their opening date on Saturday, the business ‘Magic Scissors’ shared a video of what to expect at their premises:
