Wexford man to take part in 2025 Mr Personality Festival

A Wexford man is preparing to take part in a Mr Personality Festival…

The now-annual festival will take place this weekend, April 25th and 26th.

Mr Wexford, who will be representing the county at this year’s Mr Personality Festival, is Edmund ‘Eddie’ Casey, who is a member of the Bree Macra.

Eddie is 24 years old and works as a Dairy Farmer and a PhD Researcher.

Eddie’s guilty pleasures include making faces in public and pretending to shoot strangers on the street with bananas.

Eddie’s embarrassing moment involved a plastic potted plant, his swimming shorts, and tripping over aged 15…and those in attendance may find out on the night.

There will be 23 other contestants competing on the night to be crowned champion.

Aindriú de Paor will act as the MC on the night. Three judges will be present, including Martin Merrick, Lisa O’Rourke, and George Candler.

The contestants will arrive at the Hoban Hotel at 2:00p.m on the Friday and will be heading out for their first group activity of the weekend. Afterwards, the on-stage interviews will kick off at 7:00p.m in The Hub, Cilín Hill.

The festival is sponsored by Kilkenny, Carlow and District Farm Relief Services (FRS).
