One player that stood up not only against Kilkenny, but throughout the championship was Faythe Harriers club man and Wexford captain, Lee Chin.

Chin scored a cracking goal in the final minutes of the game versus Kilkenny – and it was quite similar to the goal he scored against Offaly just one week previously, burying both goals into the top corner.

Naomh Eanna’s Cian Molloy started the attack, picking out his fellow clubman Conor McDonald in the corner. Over his head, McDonald placed a perfect pass into the onrushing Chin, who then scored the magical goal into the roof of Eoin Murphy’s net.
