Wexford Park to host Minor hurling championship All-Ireland semi-final

Sitting on the South East coast and on the corner of Ireland, Wexford don’t typically play host to neutral venue hurling and football games…

But, that will be the case for the Minor All-Ireland hurling championship semi-final.

The times, dates and venues have now been set for the All-Ireland minor hurling championship semi-finals on the weekend after next.

It has been confirmed that Chadwicks Wexford Park will play host to the showdown between Waterford and Kilkenny on Saturday week, June 14th, with FBD Semple Stadium set to stage the clash of Cork and Clare the following afternoon.

Although Wexford will not be featuring, one can assume that the game will attract a solid neutral base from Wexford, with Adult tickets on Ticketmaster costing €15, while Students and OAP’s cost just €10.

Both semi-finals will also be televised live on TG4.

All Ireland MHC semi-finals:

Saturday, June 14th

Waterford v Kilkenny, Chadwicks Wexford Park, 7.35pm

Sunday, June 15th

Cork v Clare, FBD Semple Stadium, 1pm
