The Social Hockey sessions will kick off on Tuesday, June 17th from 8pm – 9pm.
They will run every Tuesday for 6 weeks, as informed by Enniscorthy Hockey Club.
These social hockey sessions are open to anyone aged 15 and over. No experience is needed – just a fun, friendly way to get active and meet people.
They will be taking place at Enniscorthy’s Astro Active Centre.
There’s no doubt that field hockey is on the rise in Ireland, with approximately 140,000 playing the sport nationally. There are approximately 168 clubs and 280 schools affiliated with Hockey Ireland.
Hockey offers a wide array of physical, mental, and social benefits. It’s a high-energy sport that improves cardiovascular health, builds muscular strength, and enhances coordination.
Anyone interested in giving hockey a try will be welcomed to the club with open arms.
