The Wexford Senior Football Championship returns this weekend…
Two rounds of the Wexford SHC have already been played, but now attention turns to the football. One game that many people will be eager to watch is the clash between Kilanerin and the Shelmaliers, which always seem to be close encounters in the Wexford SFC.
Kilanerin great, Mattie Forde, has been working in a coaching capacity for the Shels for the 2025 Wexford football season. Meanwhile, recently-promoted Naomh Eanna will take on St James’ in the opening round with the bookies finding it difficult to seperate the sides.
Castletown are the reigning champions from 2024 – and they’ll be hoping to retain their title for 2025 after a memorable season in both codes.
