Wexford Senior hurling champions St Martins dethroned All-Ireland hurling champions, Na Fianna, on Sunday afternoon…
St Martins will now march on into the semi-final stages of the Leinster Senior Club Championship and the fixture details have since been confirmed by Leinster GAA.
They will take on Kildare champions, Naas, in the semi-final of the competition after the Kildare champions defeated Carlow’s Mount Leinster Rangers in the quarter-final.
The great news for St Martins is that their next clash against Naas will also take place in Wexford Park. A big crowd would be expected in Wexford Park to get the Wexford outfit over the line in what should be another exciting encounter.
The home advantage has provided an excellent opportunity for St Martins to advance into the Leinster Senior hurling final and they’ll be looking to build on their momentum after defeating Na Fianna last time out.
In the other semi-final, Kilkenny kingpins Ballyhale Shamrocks will take on Clough Ballacolla of Laois in their bid to reach the Leinster hurling final.
Fixture details:
