A young Wexford boy has been selected to play with Ireland…
Luke Dobbs, who plays his football with North End, has been selected to play on an Irish football team. He will be playing with the CP Ireland u-12 soccer team.
The Football Association of Ireland (FAI) runs the CP Football Development Academy to support players and encourage more girls and boys to get involved, while Ireland also has a Men’s and Women’s National Cerebral Palsy Team.
Wexford native Luke will be heading off to the United States of America in June 2026. The tournament stretch over five days.
Speaking to Patrick Dobbs, he said it’s “a massive achievement for Luke.”
The club has congratulated him on his recent call-up and achievement.
