An interesting challenge match will take place in Wexford on New Year’s Day…
The GlenFuels Wexford Club Championship Team of the Year will take on a Wexford selection on Thursday, Jan 1st at 3pm.
St Patrick’s Park in Enniscorthy will play host to the challenge match.
The two sides have been named for the upcoming clash.

With some Wexford players ruling themselves out of the panel to travel for the upcoming season, the pre-season provides an excellent opportunity for new players to stake their claim on the starting fifteen and panel.
The Wexford Senior hurlers will have their first competitive game of the new season on Sunday, 4th January 2026 when they take on Laois (away) in the Walsh Cup.
