There will be a nice contingent of Wexford players representing their club and county at the Fitzgibbon Cup for 2026…
The Fitzgibbon Cup is Ireland’s premier third-level hurling competition, contested annually by universities and colleges. It showcases elite inter-county and club talent, often serving as a key development pathway for players competing at the highest levels of the sport.
Here, we go through all the Wexford players named in the provisional Fitzgibbon Cup panels for the upcoming 2026 season. A lot of Wexford players have been named on the provisional 2026 Fitzgibbon Cup panels for their respective college/university team.
A number of Wexford players will also be playing in the second-tier of the college’s competition (Ryan Cup) which we have also added below.
