WWETB staff set for South East inter-firms football and hurling finals

A team made up of staff from schools and offices across Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board (WWETB) is set for a busy period, with appearances in both Gaelic football and hurling finals…

The WWETB side will contest the South East Inter-Firms GAA Football Final on Thursday evening at 8.00pm at SETU Carlow’s all-weather pitch, where they will face Tipperary ETB.

In addition, the same group of WWETB staff have also reached the Inter-Firms Hurling League Final, where they will take on Tirlán, with fixture details to be confirmed.

The WWETB teams are managed by Dean O’Connor, Ben Cowman, Pat McGrath, Garry Conroy and Eamon Scallan, and are drawn from a wide range of roles within the organisation, with staff representing schools, training centres and offices across the region.

Their success reflects the strong sporting culture within WWETB and the sense of camaraderie that exists across the organisation. Supporters are welcome to attend the football final on Thursday evening and show their support for the WWETB side.
