Neville Park Hotels raise almost €29,000 for local charities

Neville Park Hotels is pleased to announce that its Christmas Community Donation Initiative, Dine Out & Donate, raised an impressive €28,981 for local charities chosen by team members across the group…

Throughout December, for every meal purchased at the restaurants within the Neville Park Hotels portfolio, including Kelly’s Steakhouse and Charter Bar & Eatery at Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise; The Prom Bar, Alamo Steakhouse and Moorings Restaurant at Riverside Park Hotel in Enniscorthy; The Courtyard Bar at Newtown Park Hotel just outside Wexford Town; and Jasper’s Restaurant at the Crown Quarter in Wexford Town, Neville Park Hotel Group donated €1 toward each hotel’s nominated charity.

Midlands Park Hotel raised an incredible €11,098 for the Children’s Health Foundation (CHF) which provides vital support to sick children and their families across Children’s Health Ireland hospitals and urgent care centres in Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and Connolly. The charity was chosen following the inspiring care received by four-year-old Matthew Corbally from the team at Temple Street. The son of Stacey Corbally who works in the Meetings & Events department at Midlands Park Hotel, Matthew is one of just three children in Ireland living with a rare genetic condition, MPS VI (Maroteaux–Lamy syndrome).

At the Riverside Park Hotel in Enniscorthy, €9,008 was raised for Futures In Mind, formerly Talk To Tom, a charity dedicated to suicide prevention, mental health awareness and bereavement support, marking the second consecutive year the four-star hotel has supported the organisation.

Meanwhile, Newtown Park Hotel in Wexford raised €6,000 for Wexford Marine Watch, a voluntary group providing suicide prevention patrols along Wexford’s quay, harbour and bridge.

Also in Wexford, Crown Quarter once again showed its support for the Hope Cancer Support Centre which delivers vital services to individuals and families affected by cancer across the county, raising €2,875.

Commenting on the announcement, Colm Neville from Neville Park Hotels told Wexford Weekly that:

“We are delighted with the success of this programme and the impact it has had on charities that mean so much to our teams. We especially love that every guest who dined with us in December can rest assured that they played a part in making a meaningful difference to great causes in our local communities,” he said.
