Wexford community choir group set to expand

There’s big news from Voices of Gorey Community Choir, as the popular Wexford group announces plans to expand due to overwhelming demand…

What began as one group of women coming together to sing has grown into something truly special within the community. Now, with a waiting list in place and interest continuing to rise, the choir is adding a second night specifically for new members.

The move comes as welcome news for those who have been hoping to get involved. Organisers say this is the perfect opportunity for anyone who has been considering joining a choir, with no auditions required and no need to read music. In fact, no previous experience is necessary at all — just a desire to sing, socialise, and enjoy the sense of connection that comes from making music together.

Voices of Gorey has built its reputation on friendship, fun, and the simple joy of singing, and the expansion means even more women in the local community will now have the chance to experience that “VOG magic”.

With spaces expected to fill quickly, those interested are encouraged to get in touch as soon as possible. Those interested should check out Voices of Gorey on Facebook.
