Wexford’s Bodibro merges with another sportswear company

Wexford-based sportswear firm Bodibro has merged with another local sportswear company….

Bodibro have announced their merger with Wicklow’s Apec Sportswear, creating a stronger Irish player in the custom teamwear market.

The move combines the strengths of both companies, with Bodibro – founded in Gorey by current Wexford Senior footballer Ben Brosnan – bringing its performance expertise and Apec adding bold design capabilities.

Operations remain centred in Wexford and the business will continue operating under the well-known Bodibro name.

In a recent Instagram video announcing the news, Bodibro said:

“This merger represents the next big step for us – combining our strengths to deliver even better quality and innovation to Irish clubs and athletes.”

“We’re staying true to the Bodibro name and values that our customers love, while bringing in fresh energy and expertise from Apec.”

“Our customers can expect the same great service, competitive prices, and now an even wider range of cutting-edge designs.”

Clubs have welcomed the development, with many already directing orders through Bodibro’s platform while noting the same high quality and service.

The merger is expected to boost design options and production for GAA, soccer, rugby and other sports teams.
