Additional roadworks will begin tonight on the Rose Kennedy Bridge in County Wexford.
Motorists are being advised to expect delays and diversions over the coming weeks as repair works get underway on the N25 Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Bridge.
The bridge will be fully closed overnight on Wednesday, May 27 from 8pm to 4am and Thursday, May 28 from 8pm to 4am.
Diversions will be in place going through New Ross town.
Essential works at pier four of the bridge commenced on Monday and there’s a combination of daytime lane restrictions and overnight full bridge closures planned as part of the project.
The works are scheduled to continue over a three-week period and are expected to be completed by Wednesday, June 10.
