Step into a world of elegance, live music and vintage glamour at The Poets Parlour Club, a dazzling Old Hollywood-inspired evening that is quickly becoming one of Wexford’s most talked-about nights out.

Following a hugely successful opening night, which sold out several days in advance, The Poets Parlour Club returns with a series of dates throughout 2026, bringing audiences an unforgettable blend of sophistication, entertainment and world-class musicianship.

From the moment guests arrive at Thomas Moore Tavern in Wexford town, they are welcomed by professional photographers and invited to walk the red carpet, with complimentary entrance photographs capturing the glamour of the occasion. Every ticket holder is guaranteed a reserved seat and is personally escorted to their table by the venue’s glamorous maître d’s, ensuring a VIP experience from start to finish.

The evening’s entertainment centres around a spectacular full big band performance fronted by Wexford vocalist Emily Jane Furlong. Emily’s extensive performing career has seen her appear in the Irish tour of the acclaimed musical Rent, perform on international cruise lines, and lead a band at the world-famous Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

Audiences can look forward to a carefully curated show featuring both contemporary and timeless favourites from artists such as Amy Winehouse, Adele, Olivia Dean and Norah Jones. Expect an evening filled with laughter, emotion and plenty of opportunities to take to the dance floor.

Speaking to Emily Jane Furlong after the successful opening night, she told Wexford Weekly that the launch night was magical and it’s an event she cannot wait to do again:

“The Poets Parlour Club was created to bring a touch of glamour, connection and live music magic back to a night out. We wanted to create an experience where every guest feels like a VIP from the moment they arrive, and the response to our launch night has been beyond anything we could have imagined, it was a really magical night, we are so excited for the next shows,” Emily told Wexford Weekly.
