Fixture details confirmed for Round 2 of Wexford Senior Hurling Championship

The Wexford Senior Hurling Championship returned last Friday and over the weekend..

For Round 2, Faythe Harriers and Naomh Eanna will kickstart proceedings with an 8 o’clock showdown on Thursday evening in Wexford Park.

Just one game will be played on the Friday evening, with O’Kennedy Park hosting Glynn-Barntown and the Rapparees. Although it’s still only Round 1, this clash could be crucial for their survival — with the updated bookies odds suggesting that the Rapparees, Glynn-Barntown, and Fethard are the most likely to be fighting relegation in 2026.

As is always the case with the Wexford Senior hurling championship, there are multiple mouth-watering clashes to look forward to. St Annes, who take on Shelmaliers — and then Oulart, who take on Ferns, are probably the picks of all the games.
